Who We Are and What We Do

On behalf of the Rotary Clubs of Kentville and Middleton we would like to thank the local businesses for participating in the 2024 Valley Faces of Business.

Throughout the years, this major fundraising project has helped to raise over $1,000,000 in aid of both local and international community projects.

Here in the Valley, your Rotary Clubs of Kentville, Middleton, New Minas, Windsor and Wolfville are part of an international organization that operates in more than 160 countries. Rotary International boasts a membership base exceeding 1.2 million business persons and professionals throughout. We, in the spirit of our founders of 1924, foster the ideals of service to others, encourage high ethical business practices and continue to advance international understandings, goodwill and peace.

We exercise a strong involvement with international programs such as Polio Plus. It is matched by our equally strong and perhaps more visible commitment across the Annapolis Valley, particularly with our service to those in our community living with identified disabilities.

Our clubs community development programs address many of today\’s critical issues – hunger, clean water, the environment and literacy to name a few.

We organize and direct efforts that significantly focus on young people in the Annapolis Valley. These include educational bursaries, leadership training workshops, student exchanges and the promotion of ethical standards in the workplace.

Please support our advertisers and let them know you found them in Valley Faces of Business.

We invite your business to join us in 2025 to celebrate our 22th Edition of the Yearbook that will be delivered to 30,000 homes and businesses this October.
